Peter Karpinski is a creative, Denver-based restaurateur and hospitality entrepreneur. To date, Peter has successfully conceptualized and developed, from the ground up, 9 entirely unique restaurant destinations (all at hotels) including Portland's Asian concept Departure, Urban Farmer steakhouse and The Original, a "Dinerant"; Chicago's Catalan tapas hotspot Mercat a la Planxa with Chef Jose Garces; and Toasted Oak in Detroit, an American brasserie and market.
Peter has accomplished some impressive accolades in his young but wide-ranging culinary career, including being recognized by Food & Wine as a Forty Under Forty "big thinker" in 2010.
